Train smarter, not longer—here's how

- The goal is to reach momentary muscle fatigue (MMF) by the end of the set, which usually lasts 90-120 seconds.

- No mirrors or loud music
- A supportive environment where people of all ages and abilities can train with confidence.
Our growing network of Kieser training clinics across Australia
Since opening our first Australian clinic in Melbourne in 2006, we have expanded our network of integrated physiotherapy, rehabilitation and strength training clinics across Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania, and the ACT.
Strength and Healthy Ageing
As we age, we naturally lose muscle mass and strength—a condition known as sarcopenia. This begins around age 30 and speeds up after 60, increasing the risk of falls, fractures and reduced mobility.
Strength Training Can Help
The good news is that you can slow or even prevent this loss through regular strength training. It’s one of the most effective ways to stay strong, mobile and independent as you age.
Most Adults Aren’t Strength Training (But Should Be)
According to the Australian Physical Activity Guidelines, adults should engage in at least two sessions of strength training per week. Yet 75% of Australian adults aren’t meeting this target.
So, why are the numbers so low? Many people struggle with issues such as lack of time, low confidence, injuries, ongoing health conditions and misunderstandings about what strength training involves.
But these barriers shouldn’t stop you.
- Short on time? Just two targeted sessions a week is enough to achieve results and fit into even the busiest of lives.
- Low on confidence? Our physio-led programs are guided and structured, and you train in an inclusive and supportive environment.
- Dealing with an old injury or health condition? That’s exactly when strength training matters most—our clinicians tailor each program to suit your body and needs to help you manage injuries and health conditions.
And if you’re unsure what strength training involves, don’t worry, our exclusive Swiss-engineered machines are safe, easy to use and designed to achieve real results, not intimidation.
