Kieser Bendigo’s Will Brohm Recognised in BeBendigo Business Excellence Awards
Since 2022, Will Brohm has helped launch several new Kieser clinics—from Ocean Grove, to taking on the Principal Physiotherapist role at Hobart later that year, and then leading Brisbane’s first clinic in Ascot in 2023. Through these experiences, he has gained a strong understanding of how to build and grow a successful community from the ground up.
It’s fitting that his next move brought him back to his hometown, where he’s now leading the team at the new Kieser Bendigo. Since returning to Bendigo late last year, Will has been dedicated to growing the Kieser Bendigo community and guiding a team of physiotherapists, exercise physiologists and exercise scientists to help members build strength and stay active.
Will’s commitment and impact haven’t gone unnoticed; he’s been named a finalist in the 2025 Be.Bendigo Business Excellence Awards in the Young and Professional category.
We caught up with Will to learn more about what this recognition means to him and why working in Bendigo holds such special significance.
Recognition as a finalist
For Will, being named a finalist is both a personal and team achievement. ‘The award reflects the hard work our entire team at Kieser Bendigo puts in every day,’ he said. ‘I’m grateful to be nominated alongside so many passionate and talented young professionals here in Bendigo, and especially thankful to the community for trusting us to support them on their journey to better strength and health.’
Connection to Bendigo
Will grew up in Bendigo and says contributing to the well-being of the community that shaped him is one of the most rewarding parts of his role. ‘There’s a real sense of community in Bendigo. The connections between sport, business, and the social scene are something I value–it makes Bendigo such a vibrant and supportive place to live and work. What I love most is getting to work alongside like-minded people who are passionate about making a difference.’
Approach to leadership
As a leader, Will draws on the lessons he’s learned from mentors across his career. ‘I’ve been fortunate to learn from some incredible leaders who’ve shown me the importance of empathy, consistency, and leading by example,’ he said.
His focus is on creating an environment where the team feels supported to grow while being challenged to develop personally, professionally, and clinically. ‘At the end of the day, we’re all working together towards a shared goal of helping people lead stronger, healthier lives.’
We are thrilled to see Will recognised for the positive impact he is making both within the clinic and across the wider Bendigo community. Congratulations to Will and to all the other finalists in this year’s Be.Bendigo Business Excellence Awards.
