Meet Heidelberg Principal Exercise Physiologist, Louisa Sikaris.
What do you enjoy about working as a exercise physiologist at Kieser?
I believe in what you can gain through living an active lifestyle. Strength training is a tool that not only have evidence-based improvements to our health but also aids in empowering people to modify their behaviours to incidentally improve their health in other areas. I believe in physical activity interventions and Kieser does it best! One of the best things is walking onto the training floor and seeing each individual, regardless of their health background, working hard. Those people on the training floor, the teams behind those people and the teams behind our clinics have an incredible culture which makes it a joy to work here.
What is your favourite machine at Kieser?
F2.1- I'm not afraid of a burn!
What is a fun fact about you?
I love to travel and have been to all of the countries that start with "Z" in a single day (Zambia and Zimbabwe).
What do you like to do when not at work?
I love adrenaline activities. Bungy jumping, swimming with sharks, sky diving, sign me up! This July I will be going to Iceland to try ice climbing for the first time, now that's some incentive to strength train.
