Tony has spent more than 35 years in professional services, governance and corporate leadership roles across Australia and international markets.
He spent 34 years with global professional services firm EY, where he held a range of senior leadership positions including CEO of EY Oceania. During this time, he served on the EY Asia-Pacific and Global leadership teams while continuing to advise some of Australia's largest organisations on audit, assurance, risk, governance, transactions and strategy.
Throughout his career, Tony has developed extensive experience across regulated industries and financial services, leading major client engagements and complex organisational transformation initiatives both locally and internationally.
Following his executive career, Tony has built a substantial portfolio of board and governance roles. He currently serves as Chair of Bupa ANZ and holds directorships with Allianz Australia, Mercer Superannuation (Australia) and E&P Financial Group, alongside a number of community and charitable appointments. In January 2026, he joined the Council of Monash University.
Tony holds a Bachelor of Economics, a Master of Business Administration (Executive), a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment, and is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and FINSIA. He is also a graduate and member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a recipient of a Distinguished Alumni Award from Monash University.
