This is very positive news for our clients, but we also realise the responsibility for Kieser that comes with this decision – a responsibility we are taking very seriously. The background to this Government decision is that Kieser exercise programs are prescribed by a physiotherapist and completed under indirect supervision of an exercise scientist. As a result, the Government sees that Kieser will play an important role in minimising the pressure on our healthcare system, and keeping our community healthy, now and in the future, as we learn to live with COVID19.
We recognise that in Stage 3, some of our clients will not be ready to return to training just yet. If this is the case for you, there is no need to do anything, your membership will not restart. We will be in contact again when there is a further change in restrictions.
FAQ’s
Who can return to training?
If you answer yes to any of these 3 questions, you can return to training. At a time where we are all trying to minimise our movement around the community, these categories are designed to identify risk factors and ensure your health doesn’t deteriorate.
- Are you actively undertaking a rehabilitation program?
- Do you have a chronic condition of any nature? Eg. Heart disease, osteoporosis, arthritis
- Do you have a mental health condition?
If you are uncertain, please give us a call and have a chat to one of our friendly team
When can I book?
From Tuesday 5pm, you will be able to book in our Booking Portal as you did previously: https://konnect.kieser.com.au/. If you haven’t used our portal or if you have any problems, please call our friendly support team on 03 5221 7555.
How many people will be in the clinic?
We have further restricted the number of people in our clinic at any one time to minimise your contact and maximise your comfort levels when training. Once again we are asking you to limit your training to 2 sessions per week and at 1 clinic only – thanks for your understanding as we all adjust to these new requirements.
What hygiene measures will be taken?
As has been the case since March, we will have extra levels of hygiene to ensure your safety. Please remember to sanitise your hands on entry and ensure you wipe down every piece of equipment after use. When you arrive for your session, please wait outside so we can keep control of the number of people in the clinic at all times
