Race with a Mate - Kieser Great Ocean Road Running Festival Terms and Conditions

Everyone who likes our Facebook or Instagram page and tags a friend in the comments of our post on either Facebook or Instagram will go into a draw to win a free ticket to the 2022 Kieser Great Ocean Road Running Festival. 

How to enter:

  • Tag a friend in the comments of our competition post
  • Share the post to your stories for an extra entry

  • Information on how to enter form part of the terms and conditions of entry. Entry into the competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.

  • Entry is open to Australian residents aged 16 and older. 
  • The competition commences on March 22nd 2022 and closes on 5th of April 2022 at 11:59pm.
  • How to enter:
    Step 1: Follow the @KieserAustralia page on Facebook or Instagram
    Step 2: In the comments of our competition post, tag a friend or family member
    Step 3: For an extra entry, share the competition post to your Facebook or Instagram story
  • Only entries submitted via the Facebook or Instagram applications and which are appropriately tagged will be accepted. 
  • Multiple entries will be accepted for multiple friends tagged on the post, however if the same name is tagged multiple times that person can only win 1 ticket.
  • Winners will be chosen at random and selected on April 6, 2022 and the winner will be notified by phone if possible or private Facebook or Instagram message.
  • Both the participant who tags their friend and the friend that has been tagged will go in the draw together. Winners will be selected in groups of 2.
  • Kieser Australia will award a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 30 free tickets based on the number of entries. 
  • The winners will receive one free ticket each to the following races at the Kieser Great Ocean Road Running Festival:
    - Ultra Marathon | 60KM - valued at $155
    - Kieser Marathon | 44KM - valued at $150
    - Brooks Half Marathon | 23KM - valued between $130 - $135
    - 14km Paradise Run - valued between $45 - $65
    - 6km Run - valued between $40 - $50
    - Kids Gallop | 1.5km - Valued at $20
    - Great Ocean Road Walk | 5km or 10km - valued between $25 - $35
    The winner cannot receive a free ticket to the 13km Trail Run or the 6.5km Trail Run
  • The winners will be provided with a discount code to purchase their complimentary ticket to the Kieser Great Ocean Road Running Festival. The winners must register for the event themselves after receiving the discount code.
  • In the event that the winner/s cannot be contacted after one week, an alternate winner/s will be selected and the original winner/s will forfeit any prize
  • The promoter reserves the right to refuse to allow a winner to take part in any or all aspects of the prize, if the promoter determines, in their absolute discretion, that a winner is not in the mental or physical condition necessary to be able to safely participate in the prize.
  • The promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with any prize/s, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
  • The promoter is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, either caused by the phone user or for any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in this competition, or for any technical error, or any combination thereof that may occur in the course of the administration of this competition including any omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line or satellite network failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.

  • By entering the competition, you give Kieser Australia permission to contact you via Facebook or Instagram if you are a winner of the competition for the purpose of distributing your prize to you.
  • By entering the competition, you give Kieser Australia permission to contact the tagged person via Facebook or Instagram if they are a winner of the competition for the purpose of distributing your prize to them.
  • By entering the competition and accepting the terms and conditions, you agree that Kieser Australia may use your personal details for the purpose of conducting the competition, including the use of your Facebook or Instagram name in promotional formats.
  • The promoter reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of identity and proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the promoter.
