MOVE AROUND AUSTRALIA CHALLENGE
Train, walk, run, roll, ride or swim – every kilometre counts
This May, Kieser members across the country are coming together to take on a national challenge.
Our goal: 20 laps (290,000 km) around Australia, one kilometre at a time.
Every kilometre you and our community log, we move closer to this shared goal and help raise funds to support Lets Talk and R U OK?. Donations received will be split evenly between both organisations
To take part, simply make a $50+ donation and start logging your kilometres in the Kieser app throughout May.
EVERY STEP COUNTS
Kieser will contribute $1 for every kilometre*
Your donation is your entry to the Move Around Australia challenge and helps fund mental health initiatives supporting Lets Talk and R U OK?.
Your regular Kieser training sessions count as 5 km, making it easy to get involved.
And as members log their kilometres throughout May, Kieser will also contribute $1 for every kilometre completed, up to $100,000.
The more kilometres our community logs, the more funds we can raise for charity.
Funds raised will support:
ONE CHALLENGE. ONE NATIONAL GOAL.

THE CAUSE
Supporting mental health
Funds raised from Move Around Australia 2026 will support organisations dedicated to improving mental health awareness and encouraging proactive and open conversations. Donations received throughout the challenge will be split evenly between both organisations.
The beneficiaries of challenge funds were selected in recognition of the meaningful impact they deliver in their local communities, as well as the opportunity to support these foundations in scaling their programs into communities across Australia.
Lets Talk Foundation holds particular significance for Kieser Australia CEO, Brett Long, who has witnessed the Foundation’s growth since its establishment in 2016 by a family member, following the tragic loss of a member of their community.
Together, these organisations help create supportive communities where people feel comfortable talking about and seeking support for mental health and we are proud to partner with them in our first year of 'Moving around Australia'.
R U OK is a national suicide prevention charity that encourages Australians to check in with people around them and ask the important question: ‘Are you OK?’
Lets Talk is an organisation focused on breaking the stigma around mental health and encouraging conversations that support wellbeing.

How were the mental health charities chosen?
For our Move Around Australia campaign, we made a conscious decision to support 2 charities to focus our efforts and create a more meaningful, tangible impact.
We chose Lets Talk and R U OK? because they strongly align with who we are as a Kieser community. Both charities operate at a scale where our contributions can genuinely make a difference, ensuring our support goes directly toward impactful programs and services.
Mental health has affected many within our team, our members and their families. It was important for us to support causes that feel close to home and relevant to the people we work with every day.
At Kieser, we believe in the power of community. While Lets Talk has strong ties to South West Victoria, it focuses on mental health awareness, connection, and early intervention, which are challenges that exist in every community, no matter the location.
By supporting small, community led initiatives helps demonstrate what strong, connected communities can look like and how that impact can grow with more support.
R U OK? has a broader, more national presence, which helps balance our support across both local and wider-reaching initiatives. It reflects our focus on community at Kieser, reinforcing the importance of connection, everyday conversations and looking out for one another.
We chose charities that reflect our values: connection, prevention, and making a meaningful impact, both within our local communities and beyond.

What does a ‘pending’ activity mean?
If an activity is marked ‘pending’, it means an unusually high distance has been logged, and a Move Around Australia admin needs to review it before the total kilometres are added to your total distance and the leaderboards.
What is a distance limit?
In some cases, participants may post a total kilometre count that exceeds a predetermined distance limit for particular activities.
If your activity is marked as ‘exceeds distance limit’, then those kilometres will not be added to the leaderboards.
