Move Around Australia – Rules

Eligibility 
Open to Kieser members, clients and Kieser team members.  
Participants must register via the official process detailed below.  

Registration 

  • To register for Move Around Australia 2026 you must make a minimum $50 donation via the official Kieser donation page.
  • Use the same email linked to your Kieser account – this is important as this is how we’ll recognise your donation. 
  • After donating, present your ‘confirmed registration’ status in the Kieser App at your clinic's reception to receive your event t-shirt. 
  • Once registered, you can start logging activities in the Kieser App from 1 May to 31 May 2026.  

What You Get 
After successfully registering for Move Around Australia, you will receive: 

  • move Around Australia event T-shirt   
  • access to Move Around Australia app features (as of 1 May).

Your 60km Challenge 
In Australia, around 60% of people living with mental health conditions don’t seek support. Every kilometre helps drive awareness and change. 

  • Participants are encouraged to reach 60km during May  
  • Reaching 60km unlocks a Move Around Australia badge in the app  
  • A fun way to stay consistent and contribute to the community goal 

How to Participate 
Complete movement-based activities throughout May:  

  • Walk  
  • Run  
  • Ride 
  • Roll (wheelchair/assisted mobility)
  • Swim  
  • Kieser session (counts as 5km)  

Manually log all of your kilometres in the Kieser App.  

Kieser strength sessions (5km) will be automatically recorded once completed.  

Activities contribute to:  

  • Your personal distance travelled  
  • The overall event distance  
  • Event leaderboards  

Activity Limits 
You can log up to 3 activities per day, including backlogged activities from past dates, starting from the date of your event registration.  

Standard activity limits:  

  • Walk: up to 15 kilometres 
  • Run: up to 55 kilometres 
  • Ride: up to 99 kilometres 
  • Swim: up to 5 kilometres 
  • Roll: up to 15 kilometres 

If you are likely to be completing activities beyond the above distances, you can apply for Extended Activity Limits with reception; details below. 

Extended Activity Limits 
Approved participants may record extended distances as follows: 

  • Walk: up to 40 km  
  • Run: up to 100 km  
  • Ride: up to 250 km  
  • Roll: up to 30 km  
  • Swim: up to 10 km 

These are the maximum distances you can add for one activity in the Move Around Australia challenge. 

Activity Review & Pending Status  

Activities exceeding standard limits will be marked as “Pending” and subject to review by the Move Around Australia administration team.  

Pending activities will not contribute to personal totals, event totals, or leaderboards until approved.  

Leaderboards 
Leaderboards rank participants based on the logged kilometres they have travelled. 

There are two leaderboards 

  • Overall leaderboard – ranks every participant in Move Around Australia.
  • Clinic leaderboards  – ranks clinic members who are participating in Move Around Australia. 

You can choose to appear anonymously on the public leaderboards in the Kieser app settings.  

Move Around Australia – Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility

Participation in the Move Around Australia challenge is open exclusively to registered Kieser members, clients and team members. 

2. Registration & Donations 

2.1 A minimum donation of AUD $50 is required to participate in the challenge and must be made via the official Kieser Move Around Australia registration URL. 

2.2 Donations will be split evenly between the two chosen mental health charities, R U OK? and Lets Talk.  

2.3 Participants must use the same email address associated with their Kieser account when donating to the Kieser systems to recognise their registration. If a donation is made with a different email address, participants must contact support and provide proof of the donation. 

2.4 All donations are non-refundable. 

2.5 Donations may be tax-deductible in accordance with applicable Australian taxation laws. Participants should seek independent financial advice where required. 

2.6 Your donation will be paid directly to Let’s Talk Foundation, and they will provide you with a tax receipt for the full amount. At the end of the campaign, Let’s Talk will distribute 50% of the funds raised to R U OK? Ltd.

3. Event T-Shirts

3.1 Participants can collect their Move Around Australia event t-shirt from your clinic's front desk by presenting the valid MAA registration confirmation screen in the Kieser App. 

3.2 Event t-shirts are available while stocks last. Additional stock may be ordered at Kieser’s discretion. 

4. Challenge Period

4.1 The challenge will run from 1 May 2026 to 31 May 2026. 

4.2 Only activities completed and recorded within this period will be eligible for inclusion. 

5. Participant Entitlements

5.1 Upon successful registration, participants will receive: 

  • A Move Around Australia event t-shirt (subject to availability) 
  • Access to Move Around Australia features within the Kieser App (from 1 May 2026) 

6. Activity Tracking & Participant Responsibility

6.1 Participants are solely responsible for accurately recording all activities in the Kieser App. 

6.2 Activities can only be logged and backlogged from the date of your successful registration

6.3 Only activities recorded within the app will be counted toward challenge totals. 

6.4 Kieser accepts no responsibility for unrecorded, delayed, or inaccurate activity entries. 

7. How to Participate

7.1 Participants may complete and log the following movement-based activities: 

  • Walking 
  • Running 
  • Cycling 
  • Rolling  
  • Swimming
  • Kieser training sessions 

7.2 Participants must manually log all activity distances within the Kieser App unless otherwise specified. 

7.3 Kieser strength sessions will automatically be recorded and will contribute a fixed distance of 5 kilometres per session. 

7.4 Recorded activities contribute to: 

  • Personal distance totals 
  • Overall event distance and leaderboard 
  • Clinic leaderboards 

8. Activity Entry Limits

8.1 Participants may submit a maximum of three (3) activity entries per day, including backdated entries. 

8.2 Activities exceeding standard limits will be automatically assigned a “Pending” status for review. 

9. Standard Activity Limits

The following maximum distances apply per individual activity entry unless otherwise approved: 

  • Walk: up to 15 km 
  • Run: up to 55 km 
  • Ride: up to 99 km 
  • Roll: up to 15 km 
  • Swim: up to 5 km 
  • Kieser Training Session: 5km 

10. Extended Activity Limits

10.1 Approved participants may record extended distances as follows: 

  • Walk: up to 40 km 
  • Run: up to 100 km 
  • Ride: up to 250 km 
  • Roll: up to 30 km 
  • Swim: up to 10 km 

10.2 Approval for extended limits must be obtained from a Kieser team member. 

11. Activity Review & Pending Status

11.1 Activities exceeding standard limits will be marked as “Pending” and subject to review by the Move Around Australia administration team. 

11.2 Pending activities will not contribute to personal totals, event totals, or leaderboards until approved. 

11.3 Kieser reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to approve or reject any activity. 

12. Unapproved Activities

Any activity that is not approved will not be included in: 

  • Personal totals 
  • Event totals 
  • Leaderboards 

13. Leaderboards

13.1 Leaderboards may include: 

  • Overall leaderboard 
  • Individual clinic leaderboards 

13.2 Leaderboards will be updated daily. 

13.3 Rankings will be determined based on total approved kilometres recorded. 

13.4 Participants may elect to appear anonymously on leaderboards. 

14. Your 60 km Challenge

14.1 Participants are encouraged to achieve a minimum of 60 kilometres during the Campaign period. 

14.2 Achieving 60 kilometres will unlock a Move Around Australia digital badge within the Kieser App. 

14.3 This initiative is designed to encourage consistency, engagement, and community participation.

15. Charitable Contribution 

15.1 Kieser will donate AUD $1 per kilometre recorded during the challenge period. 

15.2 The total charitable contribution is capped at AUD $100,000. 

15.3 Only approved activity distances will be included in the final calculation.

15.4 Kieser reserves the right to determine the final kilometre total used to calculate the donation. 

16. Health & Safety

16.1 Participation in the challenge is undertaken at the participant’s own risk. 

16.2 Participants are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit and capable of undertaking physical activity. 

16.3 To the extent permitted by law, Kieser is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage incurred as a result of participation. 

17. Privacy

17.1 Personal information collected as part of the challenge will be used for: 

  • Administering the challenge 
  • Tracking participation and activity 
  • Communicating with participants regarding the challenge

17.2 All personal information will be handled in accordance with Kieser’s Privacy Policy. 

18. General

18.1 Kieser reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. 

18.2 Continued participation in the challenge constitutes acceptance of any updated Terms & Conditions.
