An introduction to medical strength training at Kieser
For many people, starting strength training comes with questions.
- Is it safe?
- Is it right for my body?
- Where do I begin?
Kieser’s Open Day provides a clear introduction to medical strength training, giving you the opportunity to understand the Kieser approach, experience the training environment and learn about the professional support available so you can decide whether it’s right for you.
What makes Kieser different
Kieser uses exclusive Swiss-engineered strength-training machines to support controlled, guided movement.
Each machine is adjustable to the individual and guides movement through a defined range. This helps support correct technique and manage load consistently, while reducing unnecessary stress on joints and surrounding structures.
This creates a structured training environment focused on safe, progressive strength development.
An evidence-based approach to long-term health
Medical strength training at Kieser is designed to support strength, mobility and overall physical function with long-term health as the primary focus.
Kieser is not a traditional gym. Our strength training is:
- supervised by qualified professionals
- individually tailored based on assessment and health history
- delivered using Kieser’s specialised strength training machines.
All it takes is two focused 30-minute sessions per week to support strength, function and long-term health.
Guided by qualified health professionals
University-qualified health professionals oversee training at Kieser, including physiotherapists, exercise physiologists and exercise scientists, who provide guidance and oversight throughout the training process.
Programs are individually tailored based on assessment findings, with technique monitored and reviewed on an ongoing basis. As strength develops, programs are adjusted to ensure training remains appropriate, effective and aligned with individual capacity and goals.
Professional support is available throughout each session if required, providing reassurance and guidance and helping to maintain a safe, supported training environment.
