Research shows exercise therapy can successfully reduce pain and prevent or delay surgery.
"Up to 74% of patients who are eligible for a knee joint replacement may be able to delay their surgery for at least 12 months after completing a 12-week rehabilitation program." (Skou et al, 2015).
"Up to 84% of patients may be able to significantly delay or even avoid spinal surgery with appropriate rehabilitation, including physiotherapy and exercise." (Atlas et al 2001 & 2005).

Kieser Hip and Knee Osteoarthritis Program

The Kieser Hip and Knee Osteoarthritis Program is a 14-week program developed by Kieser with a primary aim to prevent or delay joint replacement surgery. The program includes a physiotherapy assessment, 6 follow up physiotherapy sessions, 13 weeks of exercise physiologist/scientist supervised exercise sessions on Kieser equipment as well as education on how to manage and live with Osteoarthritis.
The Kieser Hip and Knee Osteoarthritis Programs have been developed to help you improve your osteoarthritic hip or knee in a safe and supervised manner.
The Kieser Spinal Program
The Kieser Spinal Program is an 18-week program developed by Kieser with a primary aim to prevent or delay spinal surgery. The program includes a physiotherapy assessment, 13 follow up physiotherapy sessions, 12 weeks of exercise physiologist/scientist supervised exercise sessions on Kieser equipment as well as education on how to manage and live with your lower back condition.
The Kieser Spinal Program has been developed to help you improve your lower back condition in a safe and supervised manner.
